Meet Charles Fitzgerald Butler: Financial Freedom Blogger, Real Estate Investor, High-Ticket Closer, and Early Retiree.
When I was 10, I started my first side hustle, mowing lawns in L.A. Now I’m retired at the age of 40. But between then and now, there’s a lot more to my story. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve wanted one thing: financial freedom – but it hasn’t come easy.
I’ve made mistakes, including:
- Losing my family’s business at the age of 18, when my dad passed away.
- Investing in real estate in the early 00s, and getting burned when the bubble popped
- Falling for “get-rich-quick” schemes – spending thousands on programs that didn’t deliver.
But with every failure, came valuable lessons. And I’ve learned how to bounce back from every setback. Since my early days, I’ve successfully:
- Dug myself completely out of debt through Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace program
- I raised thousands of dollars in scholarship money while in school and used the surplus to invest in real estate
- Hustled my ass off as a high-earning Uber driver, freelance copywriter, and affiliate marketer
- Invested successfully in e-commerce businesses – and helped over 80 clients do the same
- Earned an extra 10k per month as a remote, high-ticket sales closer, which allowed me to retire early
In 2014, I started the Winning This Year blog to help people like you leverage skills, save money, and create additional income streams to achieve financial freedom.
Through this blog and my personal story, I want to share my “4 T’s” philosophy – These Things Take Time!
That’s right – I’m here to help you get rich slowly. To do things the right way, so you can learn from both my failures and my successes.
