It took time for you to learn your job, ride a bike, be a parent, and learn how to swim. It took time for you to learn how to walk. Plus you could not run until you learned how to walk. You don’t remember but you sucked at walking first. Falling all over the place and laughing. Ask your parents!
Athletes take the time to train so they can make it to college, the pros, and the Olympics. Fire Fighters and Police Officers take the time to learn the skills to rescue, protect, and serve. So why do you think you can just plug in and achieve riches without learning any skills in this industry?

Focus now! Follow One Course Until Successful. Yesterday my team held a Google Hangout. It was a mastermind of six and seven-figure income earners speaking on their keys to success.
The main ingredient to their recipe of achievement… FOCUS! They are focused on building their business. Some of my teammates are scattered, confused, overwhelmed, and don’t know why. They are in 15 different programs. Attending the next pre-launch or quitting when something doesn’t work in 5 minutes.
Machine gun tactics only work in war. Shooting all your bullets without aiming is foolish. Jack of All Trades and master of none is never a winning formula. The person who can do it all is usually doing it alone and making less than everyone who has mastered a skill. I speak from experience. When I wasn’t focused I wasted time and thousands of dollars trying to find that secret.
When it comes to marketing online and direct sales in our industry… I tell my team to Follow One Course Until Successful. When it comes to marketing and advertising focus on 2-4 strategies only. Any more than that and you are spreading yourself thin and you get overwhelmed.
Follow One Course Tips
- Focus on building your primary business. Please don’t chase the shiny new objects that promise you push button traffic (while you sell their push button traffic products) Forget the pre-launches, re-launches, and new opportunities of the week. The deal of a lifetime happens every week in this business.
- Learn how to create your own traffic sources. Whether it’s paid or free marketing. Learn this skill and put it to use. It doesn’t matter where you learn it from.
- When you master a marketing skill it will open other opportunities for joint ventures, partnerships, and you will be able to tap into someone else’s skills and leverage your time and money. That’s the true secret. A Quarterback doesn’t throw the ball to himself. He uses other people’s skills to score.
- Set a schedule and stick to it. Nothing happens until it is scheduled. You show up on time for your job and stay there until you finish. Now do the same for your business. Scheduled your reading, trainings, and events.
- Attend events in your industry. There is nothing like learning in person and masterminding with people who share the same interest in business as you. You all have something in common and the word T.E.A.M. Together Everyone Achieves More comes into place. You can build relationships that last for years.
- Finally… DO NOT QUIT! Push until something happens. Get clear on your end result. I repeat one more time. Follow One Course Until Successful. Don’t get distracted. Build your primary business. Nothing should make you change lanes. Quitting is never an option.
